  2. Summer time in an English Garden

Interior Photography can also mean outdoor photography: this year we took full advantage of the english summer by shooting quite a few gardens, two of them designed by Crawford & Gray.
We loved the secretive nature of this one, a hidden getaway in the heart of busy West London.

The new Levi’s Store in London’s prestigious Regent St, photographed for the CDS Group shopfitters, whose work amazed us.

The project was completed in just 13 weeks at an approximate cost of 2 million pounds. Understandably Levi Strauss are said to be “exceptionally happy” with the finished project, which looks fantastic. Read the Guardian’s article about it here. 5. Self Service magazine exhibition

A few days ago we shot the exhibition of issues 1 to 31 of Self Service magazine, from 1995 to now, in the gorgeous Idea Books store that popped in the front room of Saint Martins Lane Hotel.

The selection is presented using Lars Frideen’s 15° shelves system which is working as a jewel box for the vintage issues of one of the best fashion magazines ever.

DesignMarketo has been commisionned by Idea Books for their popup bookshop, for which they worked with designer Lars Frideen, presenting his Coffee Table, Cactus Shelf, 15° degree Shelves, Sundial Stool and 10° Chair, part of “The Flatpack Le Plus Cool”.

I’ve been shooting quite a few projects for Crawford&Gray these past months, and each of them has been a total surprise. This particularly eco-friendly project seems to focus a lot on textures, opposing shiny concrete to beautifully red rust, and the warmth of bamboo to the coldness of steel.

  10. Copywork: The Flat Pack Le Plus Cool, designed by Lars Frideen

    Lars Frideen, 10 Degree Chair

    Lars Frideen, 360 Degree Shelf

We’ve been commissioned to shoot DesignMarketo’s  third collection, presented  during the London Design Festival 2009, among which was Lars Frideen’s amazing work.

Part of this are the 360 degree shelf and the 10 degree chair, both coming in a flat pack and to be simply assembled/disassembled by sliding and (un-)interlocking the parts together. Elements are easily connectable to their twin, augmenting the possible combinations and uses.
